Bright Colors of Marketing
I love color and light but I’m often scared to use bold or bright colors in my home. I’m always concerned it won’t come out right or it won’t be good for resell. I have quite a few things to paint at the moment so I’ve been thinking about color schemes. When I visit friends homes I am always wowed by their use of color and how perfect those shades that I dismissed as being too brazen appear. It inspires me to do the same, but then, of course I chicken out.
I feel that part of my role at DDA is in soothing people and getting them to think about using those bright, bold colors, in a manner of speaking. Like me, they may be hesitant to branch too far out in their marketing. They want to stick with the standard brochure they’ve done for years, just because it’s safe and even it’s no longer effective. I introduce them to DDA and give them just a little sampling of the extreme, full-service capabilities we offer. Yes, I’m sure the high-quality video production, custom website design and development, interactive eLearning platforms, and detailed animations can be intimidating. More than one person has shied away instantly because they thought they weren’t big or grand enough to work with us.
But at DDA we’re innovators and part of what we do is educating people on the issues out there, help them to adjust to the digital world, and provide all of the facts up front so they can make informed decisions. We’re not trying to be over the top in the traditional and interactive marketing services we offer or force people into a territory they’re not comfortable with. We’re simply trying to say that more advanced, more innovative, more interactive, and more engaging is good and will not get you the results you want but make them even if bigger and better.
Now, as for me, I think I’ll start experimenting more with different colors. After all, judging by what I’ve seen, the reward is much greater.
