Fluid Online Video with No Distractions

Now, what I’m about to write is not because I work at DDA, I really do mean what I’m about to say.

There are many times that I get annoyed, frustrated, and-or feel generally assaulted by an onscreen spokesperson. You’re just minding your own business and then….bam, there is this person talking incessantly in the corner of the screen. You’re probably wondering why I’d be bashing one of the many services we happen to offer in house. At DDA our spokesperson videos are much different and much better than what’s been popping up all over the Internet. We’ve been using actors online for more than 10 years in just about any capacity you can imagine. We have at least one video integrated into just about every website we have.

But unlike the irritating person that pops up and appears disjointed and not a part of the overall look and feel of the site, our onscreen spokesperson videos are like a part of the overall environment. They blend seamlessly with the surroundings and enhance the experience, rather than taking away from it.

For us, it’s all about the overall presentation, the continuity, and what will keep the audience engaged and entertained. A video spokesperson is a great tool to have but when it’s done incorrectly it can really be a distraction from the overall experience and take away from the core message.

Call me a snob, but I prefer video to be fluid and just one piece the full interactive experience.
