No Distractions in the World of Medical Marketing

This morning it was even harder to leave the house than usual. That would be thanks to Moxie, our 6-week-old kitten and the newest addition to our family. We picked her up on Saturday and since that time, I have to admit, not much has gotten accomplished around my house. It’s hard when you have this little face staring up at you wanting to nap on your arm or play. Of course, she’s already started crazy cat antics, having made it halfway up our kitchen wall (it’s faux wood so it’s good to dig claws into). At this point everything she does is still really cute and not yet incredibly annoying.

But enough about her. At DDA, work does have to go on and I have a pretty busy day ahead of me. There are deadlines to meet and tasks that need doing. We just got some feedback on an animation project I’m coordinating and there’s a call later this afternoon. That’s in addition to proposals I’m working on, with a rather large one due today. So for the time being, I need to put kitten thoughts to the side and concentrate on DDA’s comprehensive eLearning and online training services, our custom video production, and advanced programming applications; not to mention the interactive game development, website design and development, and award-winning medical design. I guess it’s not so difficult to concentrate when you have a product that practically sells itself.

Of course, I know that at some point today my thoughts will run to the little ball of fur hanging out in my kitchen, wondering if she’s OK. But, hey, it’s hard not to when you have something that looks this cute:
