Patiently Waiting
My younger sister received another college acceptance this past week; this time to Arcadia College. We were a bit surprised by this. I mean nothing against my sister, she does really well in school and has above-average SAT scores, but she never even finished the application process, and on top of that, or maybe despite that, she also received a pretty substantial scholarship for academic achievement. Shocking to say the least!
Unfortunately, we still have yet to hear from her first-choice school. We are hoping that her acceptance into a reputable private college is a good sign, but there’s a lot more competition at her first-pick school. So we wait, which is nerve wracking.
There are lots of reasons people need to wait, and sometimes it can be a very anxious and possibly scary time, like for test results to come back from the lab. By developing patient-focused websites, you can eliminate some of the anxiety. Medical social media marketing can be a great tool as well, like using blogs or social network sites to connect patients and families to others in a similar situation or to post news or suggestions on how to handle the waiting period. Crystal had a great blog on this last week.
At DDA Medical, we have a wide range of capabilities in house, like medical animations, website design and development, video production, and award-winning medical design, and a lot of experience in medical marketing and advertising. We can help to build very informative and effective tools that will keep patients connected, up-to-date, and hopefully at ease.
Sometimes you have to think of patients as customers, and if a customer starts to get nervous about a particular product, that usually never ends well. So contact DDA Medical today and figure out how you can keep your patients calm and happy. And if anyone has any suggestions on how to wait patiently for a college acceptance, please let me know.
