On Sunday, I grouted my tub. It was one of a few outstanding details needed to be done in order to complete our two-year bathroom renovation project. The first grouting episode for the shower was a nightmare. Our process was all wrong and I was convinced it had to be easier. After all, if it wasn’t, wouldn’t you hear a lot more complaints about grouting? So this time I paid extra attention to the instructions and went it alone. It needs some touch up work but all in all, it’s not too shabby.
As with anything else in life, when you don’t pay extra attention to the proper method, you can wind up creating a lot of extra work for yourself. But that’s life and you learn from what you did wrong the first time, or at least you can hope you will.
