Tricks of the Trade
Blogging every day is normally not a problem for me. I like to talk so it’s natural I’d have a lot to say in any form of communication. Today, however, I’m having some serious writer’s block. So I’m doing what they told us to do in college, writing it out. I just keep pecking at the keyboard, forming words, and eventually it will come pouring out. There, I think that’s better.
Because DDA is full of professionals, we all know the little tricks to enhance and support our daily work. We know what we need to do to make sure that every service we’re providing is the highest quality and if we happen to be having an off-day, we know what it takes to get back into the right frame of mind so we stay on target.
Whether it’s video production, website design and development, search engine marketing (SEM), or 2D or 3D animation, there is almost always more than one department involved, which means multiple creative, technical, and organizational people all doing what they do best. That is the really great thing about DDA. Everyone trusts everyone else and knows that if an illustration is sent to one of the graphic designers it will come back looking amazing, or if website updates are needed or brochure design and development, everything will be handled with care and come out exactly as the client desires.
So at DDA it all comes down to the people. See, I think I’ve gotten over the block, which is good, because there’s a lot to get done.
