DDA Glossary 2D Animation2D animation is the creation of moving images
in a two-dimensional environment. Animation artists sequence consecutive
images, or “frames” showing one image after the next in
a gradual progression of steps to simulate motion. When these consecutive
images are shown at a rate of 24 frames per second or faster, the human
eye is able to perceive motion. In 2D animation, the effect of perspective
is created artistically, which differs from 3D animation that
is created digitally. |
