Affiliate Program

An affiliate program is a type of Pay Per Click program that offers a website a monetary incentive to drive traffic to the advertiser’s website by placing a link on their own site. The advertiser then pays a commission to the affiliate for any clicks, leads or sales generated from the link on the affiliate’s program.

Affiliate can be broken down into three major categories: super affiliates, active but underproductive affiliates and inactive affiliates. Results are only recognized by super affiliates and these programs are costly and competitive. Search engine users are also skeptical of affiliate programs and would prefer to be led to a site through free search engine listings developed by a custom website design company like Dynamic Digital Advertising.
