Continuing Medical Education (CME) WebcastA continuing medical education (CME) webcast is an online presentation of information to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public, or the profession. A CME webcast can include video and/or audio, as well as associated text and/or graphic content that can be synched or viewed in a predetermined sequence. Continuing medical education webcasts may be live or accessible on-demand with registration for validation of CME credits. DDA Medical provides medical webcasting services for CME application. Depending on your specifications, we can combine dynamic Flash animation with audio and supplementary content or film a video webcast, synch it to a PowerPoint presentation, and stream in real-time for thousands of viewers based nationally and internationally. For on-demand CME webcasts, we can develop online testing tools that ask physicians and other medical professionals to answer a short survey and undergo a question evaluation to test their comprehension of material. Those who pass are awarded official CME credits and can immediately print a completion certificate. For live CME webcasts, we can implement a question and answer session, where participants are able to ask a moderator questions and have them answered in real time. Through programming, we can effectively synch PowerPoint presentation slides with audio narration and/or video. Depending on the CME requirements established by the CME provider, we can program the webcast so that users may navigate to sections at their own discretion and return to where they left off and resume viewing, or require viewers to be exposed to certain sections before moving on to another.
