Doorway Page

A doorway page is a form of spam that redirects a search engine user to another website by inserting results for particular keyword phrases. They are also known as gateway pages. These webpages are created to increase a website’s ranking in non-paid search results but do not deliver relevant information to the keywords or keyword phrases being searched.

Most search engines have strict guidelines about using doorway pages and using them may get a website banned from the major search engines.
