DDA Glossary Interactive Media
Interactive media is the art of infusing forms of media, such as video, animations, illustrations, and so on, with mechanisms that provoke a user response. An example of interactive multimedia is an animation simulation that can be manipulated in virtual space through a series of user controls and an interactive video with mapped areas of interest that can be selected to reveal video or additional graphic or text-based information. Dynamic Digital Advertising (DDA) utilizes forms of interactive media throughout our seven divisions to create interactive websites, eLearning courseware, video, animation, virtual trade shows, and environments that are a cut above the rest. Unlike traditional forms of technology-based communications that disseminate information in a dry and unexciting way, DDA pushes the boundaries of innovation by deploying forms of interactive media for advertising, marketing, and educational purposes, to achieve new levels of interactivity that entice users while maintaining usability.
