Cervitech Photography

In early 2008, Cervitech, Inc., a New Jersey based company focused on clinical approval of the PCM® cervical disc system, contacted DDA Medical for our digital photography services. In studio, we produced a series of high resolution professional digital photographs of a variety of spinal surgical instruments used in the implementation of the PCM® device. Our high resolution design photography effectively captured the small insignia of the manufacturer, the matte finish that displays the products' durability in use and sterilization, the reduction of glare in operation, and the details that demonstrate the products' differences in quality control over the competition.

The photographs were used in promotional and educational materials for the FDA-approved clinical trial of the PCM® investigational device. Since our work with Cervitech, Inc., NuVasive, a medical device company with a product portfolio focused on applications in the over $4.6 billion U.S. spine fusion market, has acquired the New Jersey based company and anticipates, after FDA approval, a product revenue of $100 million annually within three years of U.S. commercialization. DDA Medical is proud to serve a role in marketing a revolutionary approach that allows surgeons and patients to choose motion preservation over traditional fusion in the cervical disc replacement market.
