E-commerce is simply doing business online. This occurs in many forms, from a simple request for a quote to full-blown dynamically-generated shopping, payment, and fulfillment solutions. Each website can have a program tailored to suit the specific industry, line of products, and customer needs. In its simplest form e-commerce is web-enabling companies. Either taking all of the companies offline functions and processes and porting them to the Internet or creating a new online entity with all the characteristics, functions and processes that their brick-and-mortar competitors have. While each industry and individual company is moving toward online e-commerce at its own pace, collectively we are all moving toward that future reality that dictates the Internet be integrated, institutionalized and accommodated. The Internet is being mainstreamed in both the business world and our personal lives. People and companies adapt or become less relevant. |

Flash offers exciting interactivity without download penalty. Sound, animation and embedded video that can be read by the vast majority of browsers (92%). You can create an entire website in Flash or just an opening sequence. The latest and greatest web development tool from Macromedia® solves many of the nagging browsing problems web surfers experience with standard HTML-built web sites. Flash technology utilizes small vector type files instead of large bitmapped files to create images, interfaces, motion, and interactivity. Vectors provide the browsing software with a mathematical description of what to draw on the screen, unlike bitmapped images, which describe each pixel (picture element) of the image. Flash files download in advance (often in a few seconds) and then offer a smooth, fast, and interactive browsing experience. Like everything else there are a couple of limitations. First, the browser software must be a fairly recent version with the flash plug-in built-in, or it needs to be downloaded by the surfer while online. Second, photographic images such as those of people and products remain in bitmap form and take the usual amount of time to download. |

Programming |
|
High-end programming that has shelf life. Developing programming that simply solves problems is not sufficient. Software solutions must be stable, scalable and expandable. The unknown of future needs must at least be understood and projected. Anticipated growth and additional functionality must be planned. Future need assumptions may not always be exact but they must be intelligently explored. A successful software design process begins with genuine client / programmer communication, continues with a sincere desire to synergistically solve problems and finishes with an ongoing commitment to perfection in implementation. Dynamic Digital Advertising works in the following languages: HTML, DHTML, Perl, Cold Fusion, ASP, Javascript. DDA strives to find the right solution, at an affordable price and in a timely manner. |
