Assembly
A printhead
carrier is completely sourced and assembled by Jenn and shipped on a JIT
basis to our customer's production line without incoming inspection. This
"Dock to Stock" arrangement also involved working with our customer's
engineers in the design and assembly of prototypes, the pilot run and
finally, production of tens of thousands per year. This assembly has 18
components including a machined magnesium casting, injection molded plastic
parts, wire forms, metallic fasteners, fabric washers, stampings, timing
belt, teflon coated bearings,... Jenn sourced and approved all components.
