Quality Control
Scope
These procedures establish requirements for the quality control system
utilized by Ross Industries Inc, and define responsibilities for ensuring
the quality of our product and related services.
Application
These requirements
shall apply to all parts produced by
Ross Industries, Inc..
Waivers and Alterations
Waivers and alterations to any portion requirements shall
be specifically noted and approved by plant management as well as executive
management.
Precedence
Blueprints, engineering specifications, purchase order
requirements, and individual quality specifications shall take precedence
over these procedures whenever conflicting requirements exist.
General Requirements
The quality and control system shall provide that defects
or other unsatisfactory conditions are discovered and corrected at the
earliest practical point Ross Industries, Inc. operated on the premise
that all defects have been discovered and removed from the shipment.
Station Operators
Each operator is responsible
for the quality of product passing through their particular station. Each
operator shall work only with lots. No lot will move to the next station
until the entire lot has been completed by the station operator. Each
operator must sign and date each lot card and account for any scrap or
defects within the lot before moving the lot to the next station.
Inspection
All in-process and final inspection procedures shall meet
a C-O criteria. The sampling plan shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-105.
All Inspected shall contain zero defects within the sample size. Any single
defect within a lot is cause for rejection of that lot. Further, all rejected
lots shall be traced to the operator and corrective action taken to ensure
conformance of future lots. Inspection plans and reports shall be completed
for each lot at final inspection. These records shall be maintained for
an indefinite period of time.
