effects. Actors and actresses are filmed in front of a
blue screen and later, in the video editing stage of production,
the blue is replaced with an alternate background. The blue screen
effect, also known as the chroma key effect, can be achieved utilizing
green screens as well. These colors work best, as they are considered
the furthest away from skin tone.
