When working with a client on a set of medical 3D models, the best thing we can ever receive from them is good reference. Whether in the form of a set of medical images, detailed medical video reference, or even good old fashioned physical objects, having good reference material is a 3D modeler/animator’s dream come true.
With good reference, DDA Medical can create better models. Sometimes, even a client isn’t sure exactly how a certain medical instrument or tool looks or works in real life; the only way to truly simulate a detailed 3D model of such a thing is for the modeler to actually have it in their hands. I’ve had the pleasure to work this way with a few of our medical clients already and it always results in more accurate, detailed and realistic 3D medical models.
