23 inches of fun
The National Weather Service said the storm gave Philadelphia, which began keeping records in 1884, its second-largest snowfall: 23.2 inches. Being situated just north of Philadelphia we also had the same amount of snow. It was great fun for all the kids around here snowballing and sledging and a day off of school. The bonus to us is the lack of the school bus peril on the road means traffic flows at a normal speed. Everyone made it safely to work with only a slight hiccup of frozen water on the driveway. A few handfuls of salt and we were all up parked and ready to start some DDAing on our latest medical training tools. Right now I am creating a storyboard for a medical simulation. This is just one of the many steps we go through when we create online medical training software or CD-ROMs.
