There are some mornings I wake up and feel as though I stumbled into an alternative universe. This is usually caused by some change in my morning routine that I have no control over, like the time I drove by the gas station I frequent for coffee and found it to be pitch black and locked up. That had me scratching my head for a bit.
This morning was a far greater shock — 90.9, the station on which I listen to NPR, was out. It started with static in my driveway, which is not unusual, but that static didn’t go away and after driving further South and still getting nothing, I started to get worried. Would I not get my news fix for the morning? I flipped through the stations, thinking somehow I had messed up the number. After all, I am driving a rental and WHYY is on my presets so it’s possible I messed something up. No such luck. Finally, when I neared work and the station came in clear but was radio silent, there was no denying it, there was a problem with the radio feed.
I know this episode doesn’t seem like much, but I am a) addicted to talk radio and b) not a fan of change, especially change that occurs before 7 a.m. In any case, I survived and am now listening to the live WHYY stream. Whatever happened is obviously fixed and I’m now starting to feel a little more settled.
At DDA, we don’t have these problems. That’s not to stay there aren’t little glitches here and there, but we’ve never gone radio silent, and, unlike me personally, do not have any problems adapting to change. In fact, we embrace change, crave it really. We’re focused on innovation and creating the most unique traditional and interactive marketing and advertising out there, with comprehensive eLearning platforms, featuring Virtual Medical Simulations, medical 2D and 3D animation, and flash conversion and iPad and iPhone friendly development just part of what we offer. With trained experts in nearly every creative and technical field — graphic design, copywriting, programming, website design and development, search engine marketing (SEM), technical support, and video production — you can also be sure we can quickly troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
This is not to say that my favorite radio station isn’t equipped to handle problems, I’m just saying that you can count on DDA to never leave you in the dark, scratching your head, and wondering if you woke up in an alternate universe.
