This past spring, we did some total spring cleaning around my house; I mean deep cleaning, covering crevices, nooks, and even the crannies. Lately, as I survey my house, I’ve been thinking that maybe a fall cleaning is in order. It’s been so hot this summer that we spent most of the season with the windows firmly shut, and much like at the end of winter when I was starting to feel like the house was stale and needed some airing, I’m thinking maybe it’s time to open the windows and let the breeze come through. That way at least we can feel a bit refreshed when it’s time to close the windows again for those icy-cold days. Brrrrrr. Makes me cold just thinking about it.
At DDA, there’s always a little reshuffling that goes along with each new season. I wouldn’t call it cleaning exactly, but each time of the year seems to bring something new. Summer is typically slower, fall usually gets very busy, winter ebbs and flows with the arrival of the holidays, New Year, tax season, etc., and spring is always a nice easy breezy time, with usually a lot of on-location taping and projects wrapping up.
I for one am looking forward to a whole new crop of video production, website design and development, animation, illustration, and eLearning projects that fall is sure to bring. There’s always a good mix around here of interactive and traditional marketing and advertising services currently in progress, like search engine marketing (SEM), virtual medical simulations, and now Flash conversion and iPad and iPhone friendly development, and it would be nice to add some more to the list.
