Good Morning? Depends on How You Look at It.

I woke up a little bit early this morning and relished in the few extra minutes that I had to myself. I was able to get a load of wash thrown in as well as fold a load and put the clothes away!

Ahhh, this was going to be a good morning, I could feel it. Then I heard the pitter patter of little footsteps quickly stomping down the stairs. Then came the demands for juice, breakfast and the usual fights over getting dressed.

Listening to the boys screeching while laying with their separate blankets on opposite sides of the couch because their feet were touching, made me realize that maybe it wasn’t going to be as great of a morning as I had anticipated. After getting all lunches packed and everything into the van, I was nearly dragging my one son out of the house kicking and screaming, when my neighbor said “Good Morning. I felt like my stare could have cut her in two! I mustered up a pretend smile returned the greeting and strapped all the kids in and off we went.

When I walked through the doors at DDA, a search engine marketing company, I thought “Okay, now that it’s over, take a deep breath and let’s get to work.” I said good morning to my coworkers and had a smile on my face, then found out that the my computer was not cooperating.

I was feeling very frustrated because I have several websites to optimize today. Each one vastly different than the next.

From stainless steel companies to clock manufacturers, DDA has designed some pretty amazing websites. Finally things were back up and running and I could begin my website optimization tasks. From meta tags to alternate text and a few press release submissions, my day will be full of different optimization tips for many different websites — all as part of our SureThing Optimization Program’s effort to improve each website’s rankings in the search engines.

I guess all in all it did turn out to be a good morning since I know that the load of laundry isn’t sitting at the top of the steps waiting to be put away!
