Honest Marketing and Advertising

Well, it’s a cold and hard truth, but my 3 1/2 year old niece is a shyster, and a pretty good one at that. On Saturday, after settling a dispute over four mini Frisbees, my niece turned to her older sister — who had been handed two Frisbees of her own in a very fair manner devised by myself — and said “Sammy, give me put yours on top of mine.” She then proceeded to haul butt out of the room before her sister could understand the trick that had just been pulled on her. I’m telling you, she’s pretty slick, but, unluckily for her, I was slicker in my day and immediately understood what she’d just done.

The world is full of shysters, some mean no harm and others can be quite dangerous. It’s easy to get duped from time to time in a variety of ways. The world of advertising, marketing, video production, and web development is most certainly no exception. Unfortunately, the business is such that nearly anyone can claim to be a development or consultant and set up shop.

Since DDA is a full-service interactive and traditional marketing, advertising, and production house, we see scorned people on all ends of the spectrum — video production, search engine marketing (SEM), website design and development, and even animation. It’s a shame when we see such an instance, and we’re quick to explain that at DDA, that’s not the way we do business. We believe in honesty, transparency, and building long-term relationships.

In every project DDA undertakes, we involve the client from the start, asking for review and revisions at each step before moving to the next. We never build anything from A to Z without having shown every piece of it to the client at various stages throughout development. It’s important to us that client is involved, informed, and happy.

So, whether you’re looking for a medical website design, comprehensive eLearning platform with virtual medical simulations, Flash conversion, or iPad and iPhone friendly development, DDA offers it all, and you never have to worry about getting swindled. On the other hand, I’d watch out for my niece; she’ll get you good.
