Things Don’t Always Turn Out The Way You Planned…

This weekend my fiance and I had planned a nice drive down to where we grew up in order to find a place for pictures in between our wedding mass and reception. We had the babysitter in line and no other plans were allowed to be made for this day, as I wanted to be able to take our time and not be rushed. In my mind, it was going to be full of nice romantic strolls through parks, a few photo ops along the river’s edge and reminiscing about our childhood days in Northeast Philadelphia.

Then the babysitter had to cancel and the thought cloud above my head full of romance and hand holding was quickly popped and fizzled to the ground. Instead, we packed up the kids and off we went. The car ride down was the usual, kids fighting over Leapster games, elbowing each other in the backseat, yelling at each other to “stop it.” I tried not to let it get to me, kept looking out the window and tried to enjoy the beautiful breeze of the summer morning.

Instead of a nice stroll through the park, we ended up dragging three whining kids around from one place to another trying to make the best of it. I took a few photos and back in the truck we went. In the end I did find where we will have our wedding photos taken, but the point of my family life rambles, is that things do not always turn out the way you planned.

At DDA, a search engine marketing company, this can happen from time to time as well. I know from personal experience when implementing website optimization for our SureThing clients, I will have a technique in mind and then run into a problem with the site structure. This is when I will have to figure out another technique to use for that specific website.

I am sure that this also happens to our graphic designers with the website design projects. If a client has a specific website layout in mind but does not understand the way that a website is built, plans may have to change. And our quick thinking designers come up with a solution that looks amazing. Whatever the problem, DDA can solve it!
