Busy with Custom Applications, Videos and Medical Simulations
Well, it has been a few weeks since my last blog, I’ll admit it. But you know what that means, I’ve been fairly busy and distracted by all the projects we have here at DDA! In the video and animation department alone, we have a number of projects being completed, finessed and started.
I’ve also been on a couple shoots since my last blog. One to document the use of a particular medical product during an open-heart, aortic valve replacement surgery. Another was to interview the staff at an addiction rehabilitation facility located in a historical and beautiful building.
A couple of the project we are finishing include custom-made software to navigate a library of images and save them to your computer for use in other applications, as well as a complex medical eLearning tool, complete with almost 100 custom medical 3D simulation animations, made by DDA of course, to globally standardize the grading of various swallowing anatomical features and anomalies. We’re also getting close to launching our universal portfolio, which will allow users on mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads to browse our large and ever-growing portfolio. This is truly an exciting time for us to deliver our services on mobile platforms with them finally able to support the kind of advanced and technological work we do here at DDA.
Stay tuned for updates. I’ll try not to leave it so long next time!
