The Interactive Advantage

Working on interactives for Dynamic Digital Advertising never gets old. For the past eight months, I have been steadily learning new methods of interactivity using programs like Flash and Director. I have created several flash based games for DDA’s new portfolio showcase project, as well as numerous interactives for clients. I learned all this during my time here at DDA, and I am glad for it.

DDA’s work environment is like no other. Because I knew I needed to diversify my skill set, I was able to take on projects outside of my basic 2d and 3d animation training that I had brought with me from school. I was able to learn by doing, something many jobs simply don’t have the time or patience to allow.

Working on interactives here has put me a step ahead of the competition in the animation field. I can now not only animate something in Flash, but also create compelling interactions that will keep the user engaged and interested in the content being presented. Interactive animation is an extremely valuable tool in this field, and I am glad to have it in my arsenal, thanks to DDA.
