Research Your Purchase
I finally got myself a new phone this past weekend, but only because my old phone was starting to have issues. They were issues that made me not be able to hear the person on the other end of the line, so they were big issues. That phone and I had a three-year run and it was a somewhat sad occasion to get rid of it. Luckily, I could have a fun new phone to cheer me up.
I am one of those people who wants a phone that I can use as a phone and not some sort of mini-super computer that does my taxes for me and has a full Internet browser (sorry iPhone). So I did my research online at CNET.com with my main goal being to find a phone with good call quality, a thin body so that it doesn’t bulge in my pocket, and that’s inexpensive. By inexpensive, I mean free outright or free with a mail-in rebate. So my search began and eventually ended after finding a nice slider phone.
Now I wanted to go to the store to buy it. I had to wait for a while initially to be helped and as I browsed the display phones, none of which were the one I wanted, and it was hard to stick to my plan. That was until I looked at the price tags and/or remembered my research. My turn finally came and I was told that they only had one color, luckily it was the color I wanted. So the phone was brought out and I was happy right when I saw it. It has everything I wanted and finally lets me download ringtones off the Internet so now I can endorse the Preston and Steve radio show whenever my phone rings.
