Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Running errands over the weekend, I was pleasantly surprised to see how many retail stores are pushing green. I had to smile at all the food shoppers carrying totes or boxes for their groceries, and the people recycling plastic bags placed prominently in front of several stores. Plastic and paper packaging  includes the admonition to recycle (has for a long time) but consumers are now paying heed. The mantra REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE is beginning to pay off! Businesses from restaurants to beauty parlors to advertising agencies in Bucks County are responding to the challenge that our planet needs TLC from all of us.

Our task at DDA as a creative marketing and advertising company is to show our clients how we can help them turn green too. It isn’t going to happen overnight, and it isn’t going to be easy, but part of our task is finding new ways to demonstrate that traditional business methodologies must integrate basic green tenets.

Do you have any idea where the United States ranks among the nations of the world when it comes to environmental performance, (this includes greenhouse and gas emissions, water resources, and habitats in general)? We are number 66! Isn’t that shameful? Let’s use our DDA voice to help change that.  Our country should be an environmental leader instead of a lagger.
