100 Things At Once
It’s a cliche, but “When it rains, it pours,” is a perfect sentiment for this business, or at least from where I am sitting.
This week, I got to write. As a writer, that’s great news to me, and while I, like the other professional writers am called upon to develop search engine optimized content, do medical copywriting, and write video scripts and brochure copy, some of my other duties get in the way — like New Business Development and Project Coordination. So it was nice to be able to turn my attention to writing.
Then it happened. Phone calls; e-mails; proposals accepted; conference calls — all at once. Not that I am complaining. It’s good stuff. But I am feeling a little bogged down. Between quotes for video production, continuing medical education (CME) development, eLearning tools, website development and design, webcasting, logo development, and brochure development, it’s easy to feel a bit lost.
Luckily, things are going fairly smoothly, and it wouldn’t be Thursday if 100 things weren’t flying at me.
