Dr. Helm was looking to create a more dramatic impact with his online presentation, while keeping up with the latest technological trends.
The new website would feature a modern responsive design to ensure that all users would see a graphic presentation of the content optimized for their specific device and screen size. With over 50% of web searches now conducted from mobile devices, and Google separately indexing searches from mobile devices, the new responsive website was crucial to ensuring best possible rank on Google and other search engines. DDA would also outfit the website with a unique homepage presentation with concise marketing messages and powerful imagery that would allow users to have a complete overview of The Helm Center and its services as quickly as possible. DDA would incorporate video of Dr. Helm featured recently in local news to drive further engagement. The new website would focus on two important new areas of focus for the practice: ketamine infusions and treatment for medication dependence.
DDA developed a bold new contemporary design for The Helm Center that featured a parallax-scrolling presentation which gives a layered 2.5D effect for greater visual engagement. Simple color schemes with crisp lines and angles give it a clean, contemporary appeal that reflects the excellence of The Helm Center and its healthcare services. The news video report integrated on the homepage gives viewers the opportunity to get a sense of who Dr. Helm is and what his practice is about, while also strengthening the presentation of the website to search engines, which place a premium on those that include video. The website’s menu system remains fixed at the top of the window at all times, so that navigation remains effortless on all devices at all times. The site includes dozens of pages of detailed keyword-rich search engine optimized content on all the services offered by The Helm Center, much of which had been written by DDA’s own organic SEO copywriters in 2012, along with a blog to allow the client to continue to add content over time. The Helm Center website also includes an initial patient questionnaire to help automize the patient acquisition process.
The final website launched in 2017, and has put a fresh new face on an exceptional healthcare organization.
