Challenge

Before the grand-opening of their new upscale eatery, City Kitchen Pizzeria wanted something classy but trendy to best represent their establishment. As an upscale, gourmet-style pizzeria, they also wanted the reputation for good food delivered fast. DDA would need to capture the essence of this Italian Grille and Pizza Bar in a single logo that would not only attract attention, but symbolize City Kitchen Pizzeria no matter how many locations they open in the future.

Objectives

DDA understood that, as a new business, City Kitchen Pizzeria needed an attractive logo that was both welcoming and represented the vibe of the new restaurant. Also, since owners planned on expanding their business to a chain of restaurant locations in the future, this logo needed to be versatile to whatever area it was serving. With this information in mind, DDA would provide graphic design services to create a timeless logo that City Kitchen Pizzeria could be proud of and rely on as the business grows.

Solution

DDA graphic designers produced several design concepts for City Kitchen Pizzeria to consider. Based on the client feedback, DDA designers adjusted color, font, size, placement, and imagery to perfect the image. By combining city style with Italian elegance, DDA designers fashioned the perfect logo for this high-class, yet city-chic, pizzeria.
