Foundations Behavioral Health (FBH) provides both health and academic services to children and adolescents with a variety of behavioral conditions. They sponsor a numerous programs that focus on providing a compassionate learning and therapeutic environment to those who need it. They wanted to market both of their LifeWorks programs through the distribution of print materials to schools and parents with children who could benefit from the available services. At the LifeWorks Alternative School, students are engaged in restorative sessions with small, structured classes. The LifeWorks Academy focuses on students with autism, Asperger’s syndrome, and other developmental disorders. Both educational entities strive to build relationships and strengthen communication between students, teachers, and families, and so FBH wanted these themes apparent in the print marketing materials.
DDA would design two separate brochures to highlight the unique and important features of each academic service that FBH provides. These brochures would be geared to school districts and families that have children who could benefit from these services and who may have tried other facilities without success.
In designing the LifeWorks Alternative School trifold brochure, DDA focused on the diversity of the students who find the help they need in this program. The images used throughout the print piece captured the compassionate and educational environment that this School provides to students. For the LifeWorks Academy brochure, DDA chose to use images of puzzle pieces to represent autism awareness, something this program supports. The theme was evident throughout the brochure and used to unify the brochure from the inside out.
Once all images, layout, and content was approved by the client, DDA facilitated print production to provide FBH with two custom print marketing pieces that appealed to and informed the targeted audience.
