ActionScript 3 Tweens

When I first dove into coding with Actionscript 3, I was surprised to find that the built-in tween was not very good. I expected more out of Adobe and it’s new attempt at the Flash coding language. It wasn’t working correctly at all. After some searching I found that this new fancy version of Actionscript’s tween class doesn’t let you run multiple tweens at the same time! Seriously Adobe! How do you overlook that?

So after some searching, a new AS3 tween class that would need to be included was found and it is magical. It’s called TweenLite. I’ll wait so you can write that down….

It is everything that Adobe’s built-in tween class should be. You can run multiple tweens at the same time. The way to call and format your tween to do what you want is easy to understand. The tweens themselves run perfectly. I have never had a problem since we found this tween class.

So do yourself a favor when you use Actionscript 3 and skip right over the built in tween and get TweenLite.
