Surprising & Pleasing Clients is Job #1

We live in the “boonies”. (Spell check does  not like that word). Regardless, it is apropos.  We love the woods and the surprises that keeping most of our backyard wild has afforded us over the years. My new favorite neighbors are two beautiful swans that look out of place among the gaggle of Canadian geese. They seem so calm and unperturbed and just go about their courting as if the creek is their private real estate. Now that winter is fast approaching, most of the trees are bare and almost all the wild grass has that brown gold late November look. All the wild things scurry getting ready for the snow. The deer blend naturally into this environment, as do the many rabbits and snapping turtles, even the birds have muted colors,  but the pristine whiteness of the two swans is startling.

Our advertising agency reminds me a bit of this habitat. All of us work hard to accomplish numerous tasks. We don’t waste each others time, we make internal meetings  count. We keep idle chitchat to a minimum.  All you have to do is take a look at the number of emails that fly back and forth internally, and to our clients and vendors. The projects are long and complex, each requires constant focus and testing and proofing before being declared done. This is true whether we are producing a sophisticated calendar, a hefty website with numerous back end requirements,  a giant trade show graphic, or writing content for a medical device manufacturer. And throughout the process,  two or three staffers will stand out like those swans. So from courting prospects, and turning them into DDA believers, to delivering a finished project, we pride ourselves in always surprising and pleasing our clients.
