Keep it Current

Keeping things current and fresh is a founding principle of advertising. Not only does this concept apply to design and aesthetics, but it applies to content as well. Colors and shapes can go in and out of fashion just as much as words and phrases.

But I digress, my intention in this post is to note the importance of maintaining an up-to-date website in terms of content. Many of the clients I work with contact me on a regular basis to update their site’s news and events, trade show participation, contact information, project/service/product descriptions, testimonials, and so on. All of this is crucial in conveying the message to your target audience that your business is not stagnating in some rockin’ 80s era, but growing and succeeding in the 21st century. A great looking website is not enough. Your competitors may have great sites as well. What will set you apart is the full presentation in content and appearance. Assuming that your audience will not read the content of your website is foolish. No, they may not read the content top to bottom on every page, but they will read something that sparks their interest. How else will they know you have the capability to meet their needs?

Employ the website design and development services of DDA along with our online advertising copywriting services to put your best foot forward. After launch, we’ll help you keep it current month after month, year after year.
