Association of Reproductive Health Professionals Animated Menstrual Suppression Consumer Information
This interactive web tool was designed and developed by DDA Medical for the non-profit organization Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP) through an educational grant from Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. The tool provides users with facts about the menstrual cycle and information on using hormonal birth control to change the menstrual cycle to have periods less frequently or to eliminate them altogether. DDA Medical designed the website, illustrated the women portrayed, and developed animations to aid in the seamless usability and the effective presentation of the physiological response during the menstrual cycle, the available combined hormonal birth control options, and how menstrual suppression works with the proper regimen. Through design, illustration, and animation, DDA Medical was able to create an interactive tool that is as engaging as it is informative.
