Friends Hospital Waterfall Insert Brochure
DDA helps Friends Hospital, the nation's first private, non-profit psychiatric hospital, reach a larger demographic by combining a fresh contemporary approach to their warm and inviting Quaker values.
Friends Hospital is one of the first organizations of its kind. As their list of programs and services grow to accommodate a larger audience, they wanted to reach outside of the Philadelphia area and attract a wider demographic of patients looking for behavioral health services. Because Friends Hospital is still a leader in the industry, and they launched the only program in the area for professionals needing these services, they were interested in rebranding to satisfy this new, more upscale concept. Friends also wanted to convey the same values established by their Quaker predecessors since 1813. To allow everyone to effectively participate in the healing process, Friends Hospital wanted one comprehensive package, available to both patients and their families.
DDA discussed new marketing themes with Friends Hospital to establish the direction for the brochure project. A Pathway to Wellness and Recovery was the new marketing theme DDA suggested. Friends Hospital provided content and images, and DDA designed the brochure cover and the spread inside the folder brochure with this theme for each program insert. Each of the 6 waterfall inserts included a full color folder brochure that highlighted the Friends Hospital programs, paired with serene scenes of the peaceful environment Friends Hospital uses to promote healing, respect, responsibility, hope, and empowerment.
A new sense of purpose, productivity, and accomplishment is key to wellness. While being mindful and sensitive to all who may be on this path to recovery, DDA’s new insert brochures for Friends Hospital communicate a new sense of purpose, productivity, and accomplishment, and provide an overview of their services to adolescents, adults, and seniors, from students to professionals to retirees.
For quality control and timely delivery, DDA also coordinated print production so Friends Hospital would have the finished product in hand for an industry conference for distribution to attendees.
DDA created each folder brochure to be a strong marketing tool for Friends Hospital and to provide valuable information to patients and families in need of information with a whole new look and brand presentation for the first behavioral health facility in the country.
